Nonetheless, there are some other tournaments during this time of year that have nearly the same level as the Grand Slams. It was created by Butch Buchholz in 1985 and is also known as “Winter Wimbledon,” being the second event following the Indian Wells Open under the “Sunshine Double.” These two are staged on hard courts in America during springtime.
